PPP currently has 1 licensed stallion:-

During the summer months, when covering mares, each stallion has his own sheltered paddock and keeps a girlfriend with him until his next one comes into season. This means the girls don't get jealous and he only has to cover one mare at a time leading to a more successful conception rate. Once all his girlfriends are tested in foal he runs with them all (foals included - even if they are not his from the previous year). Until the weather changes and we need to rest the pasture we have found this a most successful way to keep our stallions happy, healthy and easy to handle. They don't mind the mares being removed or anyone entering their paddock whilst covering.
